CUSTOMS & IMPORT COMPLIANCE

Riptide ships products intended strictly for laboratory research and Research Use Only (RUO) purposes from Canada to select international destinations, including the United States, where available.

All shipments are exported in accordance with applicable Canadian export requirements and shipped using standard commercial shipping documentation. However, import requirements, customs practices, regulatory interpretation, enforcement priorities, and admissibility standards may vary and are subject to change without notice.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees and may be impacted by:

Customs inspections or examinations

Customs delays
Import refusals
Regulatory holds
Detentions or examinations
Product destruction or abandonment
Seizures or enforcement actions
Returned international shipments
Additional documentation requests from authorities
Carrier-related delays or losses occurring after transfer to the carrier

No refunds, replacements, credits, chargeback reversals, or reshipments will be issued for shipments that are delayed, held, refused, abandoned, destroyed, returned, seized, or otherwise affected by customs agencies, regulatory authorities, or import enforcement actions.

Any assistance provided by Riptide regarding customs inquiries, documentation requests, shipping questions, or carrier communication is provided solely as a courtesy and does not constitute acceptance of liability or responsibility.

International orders affected by customs actions, import restrictions, carrier interruptions, regulatory reviews, or governmental decisions are not eligible for guaranteed refunds, replacements.

LOST, STOLEN, OR DELIVERED PACKAGES

Risk of loss transfers to the customer once shipments are transferred to the shipping carrier.

Riptide is not responsible for:

Packages marked as delivered by the carrier
Stolen packages
Misdelivered shipments
Incorrect addresses entered during checkout
Failed delivery attempts
Unclaimed packages
Carrier scanning inaccuracies

If tracking indicates a shipment has been delivered but cannot be located, customers should contact the carrier directly and check with neighbors, building management, parcel lockers, or local delivery facilities.
