Processing Times, Delivery Estimates & Delays

Orders typically require 1–2 business days for processing following successful payment confirmation. Processing times may vary during periods of increased order volume, operational delays, payment verification requirements, holidays, or other circumstances outside of our control.

Estimated delivery timelines begin after an order has been dispatched and are provided for informational purposes only.

Typical estimated delivery windows:

  • Canada: 2–7 business days
  • United States: 3–10 business days

Customers should expect that delays may occur, particularly for international shipments.

Delivery delays may result from:

  • Customs inspections or regulatory reviews
  • Carrier delays or service interruptions
  • Regional disruptions or operational limitations
  • Weather events or natural disruptions
  • Peak shipping periods
  • Documentation requests or import processing requirements

Riptide does not guarantee processing times, delivery timelines, customs clearance timelines, or carrier performance.

Regulatory Responsibility

Due to the complex and frequently changing regulatory landscape surrounding peptides and laboratory reagents, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that any products ordered are permitted for import into their destination country and comply with all applicable local laws and regulations. 

By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally permitted to import the products purchased. We maintain strict non-human use and research only policies  

Customs and Import Clearance

International shipments may be subject to customs inspection and may require additional information or documentation from the recipient. Local customs authorities may contact the recipient directly using the contact details provided at checkout if further information is required.

Please ensure that you are available to respond promptly to any customs enquiries as delays or failure to provide requested information may result in delays refusal or return of the shipment.

While we take care to prepare shipments accurately and in compliance with requirements, we cannot be held responsible for delays holds or seizures imposed by customs authorities.

Duties Taxes and Fees

Riptide covers all tariffs for US researchers. Any further costs such as taxes, broker fees, and pick up costs, unless indicated otherwise, are not assumed. 

International Order Policy

If an international order is confirmed as lost in transit, the following options are available:

  • A one-time reshipment (no further resends or refunds will apply)

Orders that are delayed, held, or refused by customs are not considered lost.
